eLearning course on the Roadmap for Achieving the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labour by 2016
This training tool is an eLearning course on eliminating the worst forms of child labour, and is aimed at policy makers and practitioners. The course offers ILO stakeholders 7 interrelated modules that can be completed anywhere and at one`s own pace.
The tool presents a variety of learning techniques and draws heavily from the globally adopted Roadmap for Achieving the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labour by 2016, and the related training guide entitled “Implementing the Roadmap for Achieving the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labour by 2016: Training Guide for Policy Makers”.
The development of this training tool was generously funded by the European Commission and the Dutch Government.
Each module takes about 90 minutes to complete, and inputs to assignments are automatically saved and kept confidential, and can be printed. One can interrupt going through the modules at any time, and later continue from where one stopped last time (if using the same computer). Users can navigate by clicking the various icons including ”play”, ”next" and "read more". The horizontal scrolling bar can help the user to navigate quickly through a module. If need be go to "view" and "zoom" to adjust the page to fit the screen.
