Medición del trabajo doméstico
Es notoriamente difícil obtener datos sobre el trabajo doméstico. La OIT publicó sus primeras estimaciones sobre el trabajo doméstico en 2013, en "Domestic workers across the world". Esta metodología se perfeccionó y adaptó en 2016 y se publicó como componente de las "ILO global estimates on migrant workers". Estos dos recursos clave van acompañados de guías sobre investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa del trabajo doméstico, estimaciones sobre el trabajo doméstico infantil y algunas reflexiones sobre cómo medir el valor social y económico del trabajo doméstico.
