COVID-19 Crisis; The Trade Union’s Role in Protecting Workers in their Workplaces
On June 24, 2020, the ILO Bureau for Workers’ Activities (ACTRAV) hosted the “COVID-19 Crisis; The Trade Union’s Role in Protecting Workers in their Workplaces” webinar as part of the Webinar Series 2.0 for Arab Trade Unions.
The hour-long webinar featured remarks by Nezam Qahoush, Maria Helena Andre, Mustapha Tlili and Victor Hugo Ricco.
Manal Azzi, ILO senior OSH specialist, presented the ILO Policy Framework on Protecting Workers at the Workplace. Ms. Azzi discussed OSH management systems, OSH risks and protective measures and the importance of social dialogue on OSH.
